For my sister-in-law's first baby shower, I designed everything from the invitations to games to banners to homemade soap labels. I used stripes and polka dots in gender-neutral colors.
Baby Shower Invitations
Full Moon Sundries Logo
My sister, who is not a designer, was working on creating a logo for her friend's handmade soap (and other products) company. She kept asking my advice on different elements and I finally said, "Let me at it." I'd never designed anything with a wolf howling at the moon (the friend's only direction) and I was excited for the challenge to make it modern and fun.
Ike & Louie Calendar
I started making CD jewel case calendars of my dogs to give to friends and family as gifts. For several years I created a new calendar design using photos I'd taken of my dogs over the past year.
In lieu of a wedding present, my high school best friend, Keith, asked that I design his wedding invite based on a photo he and his fiancee took together at the Grand Canyon. The invitation was letterpressed locally in Austin.
I designed my brother's wedding program. Front and back are shown. This project satisfied my need to align everything all the time.
Every year, my yoga instructor liked to create and sell a calendar showcasing her students. I designed them from 2003–2005. Each year it had 2 different ink colors, duotone photos and we printed it on 100% post-consumer recycled paper.
