When I got hired at Castle Hill Fitness, one of the top priorities was to create templates for all of their internal flyers. The Pilates, Yoga, Nutrition and Fitness departments all needed flyers for their workshops, events and series. Using the colors of each department, I created templates that were on-brand, easy-to-absorb and easy to update for the person in the marketing position after me.
Reusable Grocery Bag
Coming this winter to a Whole Foods Market near you. The plan for this bag is to be sold not just in the Whole Foods Market 365 stores but in all Whole Foods Market stores. Since there are under a dozen 365 stores we chose to make it very brand-heavy versus using a more decorative or seasonal design.
Broad Street Store
This Whole Foods Market store was unique because, aside from its historic Treme location, it opened as a part of Project ReFresh, which included Liberty's Kitchen, a nonprofit that provided culinary training to youths and meals to public schools, and Tulane University's Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine, which taught residents, students and doctors how to use healthy cooking to avoid food-related diseases. So the interior of this small store, located in a former Schwegmann's, had a look all its own that utilized Louisiana and New Orleans imagery, phrases, and work by local artists. We even created Local sign templates specifically for this store.
Community Giving Day
Whole Foods Market stores frequently give a percentage of one day's sales to a non-profit and I incorporated design elements that encompassed many of Whole Foods Market's community relationships: food, people, pets, the environment. I also used a vector-based design so the store artists could easily resize and manipulate the files for their specific stores' needs.
local signage update
The original design for the Whole Foods Market Southwest's Local program was created by Frank + Victor in 2008. In 2010 I gave it an update, brightening the palette, simplifying the design, adding a grower profile map and creating templates for 10+ sizes of storytelling local vendor profile signs.
Apple Visuals Team
When I worked at Apple, I volunteered to be on the Visuals team, which meant that we were in charge of installing all the window displays that were sent from Apple as well as keeping signage up to date and product displays clean and organized. The image above is the display we set up to open the Memorial City location.
